Hi,

It's been a while since our last newsletter. We understand that some of you must be wondering how the project is going. Your interest and support are invaluable to us, therefore we would like to update you on the exciting developments that have occurred. We also want to thank all beta testers for their support, you can see their activity on the "Where is Walter" website.

The final hardware revision is now ready for compliance testing

Since March we have taken extra time to further optimize Walter's design. It was an intensive process that required patience and care as it involved four revisions to optimize the design for manufacturing. We also completed pre-compliance testing and we are proud to announce that we are now preparing Walter to go to final compliancy testing. This is an important milestone that brings us closer to our ultimate goal.

Ready for mass production and crowdfunding

Once compliance testing has been completed with positive results, Walter will be ready for mass production! We are now working hard to finally launch the crowdfunding campaign. So keep a close eye on your inbox as we will soon send out a new newsletter announcing the launch of this exciting campaign. We need your support to spread the word!

An IoT extension board you say?

Walter can function completely stand-alone but it get's even better when you attach some peripherals. Therefore we designed the Walter Feels expansion board. It's the extensive Swiss army knife of IoT boards and contains items such as an MPPT solar input, multi-chemistry battery charger, digital power management, SD-card slot, RS232, RS485, SDI-12, 12V output, temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, humidity sensor, 6DoF IMU, CO2 sensor, ...
